This page tells you what we know about you, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have kept it short and simple.
1. Who we are
You know us as Al Jawad Laundry. On our trade licence our name is Aljwad Alhaditha Laundry (مغسله الجواد الحديثه), and our Commercial Registration number is 149670.
Our shop is at Building 49, Street 1143, Zone 70, Rawdat Al Hamama, Qatar.

2. What we know about you
We only keep the things we need to do your laundry.
- Your name, your phone number and your home address. We need these to come to your door and bring your clothes back.
- Your orders: what you sent us, what it cost, and what you paid.
- Your name, your email and your message, if you fill in the form on this website.
- The messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
This website does not follow you around the internet. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
3. Why we need it
- To collect your clothes, clean them, and bring them back to the right house.
- To write your bill and keep our accounts in order.
- To answer you when you ask us something, and to put things right if you are not happy.
- To send you offers on WhatsApp, but only if you have told us yes. Section 7 explains this.
We use your details for three reasons only: because you asked us to do a job for you, because the law tells us to keep business records, or because you said we could.
4. The companies that help us
We cannot do everything on our own, so a few companies help us. Each one only handles what it needs for its job.
- Hostinger keeps this website running.
- Google gives us our email, and the letters you see on this website.
- WhatsApp carries the messages between you and us.
- Syswash is the computer programme where we write down your orders.
Some of these companies keep information on computers outside Qatar.
5. Who sees your details
The people in our shop and our driver see what they need to do your order, and nothing more. We do not sell your details to anyone. We do not give them to other companies so that they can send you adverts. If the law tells us to give information to the authorities, we have to do that.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you are our customer. After that, we keep them only for as long as we need them for our accounts and for the law. If you ask us to delete your details, we will do it, unless the law says we must keep them.
7. Offers on WhatsApp
We will only send you offers if you have clearly told us yes. Every offer will say that it comes from Al Jawad Laundry. If you change your mind, just reply STOP or tell us, and we will not send you any more.
8. How we keep it safe
Your details are used only by our own staff, inside our shop, to do your order. We do not leave them where other people can see them. If something ever goes wrong and your details are at risk, we will tell you, and we will tell the authority, as the law asks us to.
9. What you can ask us to do
Your details belong to you. At any time you can ask us to:
- tell you what we know about you, and give you a copy,
- fix anything that is wrong,
- delete your details,
- stop using your details, or take back a yes you gave us before.

10. Children
This website is made for grown-ups. We do not knowingly collect details from children.
11. If you are not happy
If you do not like the way we have used your details, please tell us first, and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the National Cyber Governance and Assurance Affairs, which is part of the National Cyber Security Agency of Qatar.
12. If this page changes
If we change anything here, we will put the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
